iWant to release new “Bagman” series, Gold Squad movies, and Jodi-Ian-Zanjoe film
ABS-CBN officially unveiled its roster of upcoming teleseryes featuring the much-awaited TV comeback of the country’s most sought-after love teams, KathNiel and LizQuen, Bea Alonzo and Richard Gutierrez’ first team-up, Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, and Yam Concepcion’s romance drama, and Gerald Anderson’s inspiring action series at the ABS-CBN Christmas Trade Party last Wednesday (October 30).
After the record-breaking movie “The Hows of Us,” the award-winning pair of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla will make their return to television with a new teleserye to be shot in Mexico.
The wait is nearly over for LizQuen fans as Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil reunite with blockbuster director Cathy Garcia-Molina for romantic comedy “Make It With You” where the real-life couple are set to portray two quirky strangers who meet and fall in love in the picturesque country of Croatia.
Bea Alonzo gets caught in a love triangle in her first project with Rafael Rosell and Richard Gutierrez in “Kahit Minsan Lang,” while Xian Lim becomes conflicted between his wife Yam Concepcion and her half-sister Kim Chiu in “Love Thy Woman.”
Gerald Anderson leads the pack in the action-drama series “A Soldier’s Heart,” which also stars Elmo Magalona, Nash Aguas, Jerome Ponce, Yves Flores, Vin Abrenica, and Carlo Aquino as his comrades.
Meanwhile, breakthrough two-in-one talent search “Your Moment” featuring judges Billy Crawford, Nadine Lustre, and Boy Abunda premieres this November 9 and 10, while Filipino teenagers will have another chance at becoming a singing superstar as “The Voice Teens” returns soon.
iWant also continues to beef up its variety of content with a second season of Arjo Atayde’s “Bagman,” whose second installment will feature Carlo Aquino, two Nathalie Hart starrers entitled “Uncoupling” and “Barbara Reimagined,” Iza Calzado’s “Loving Emily,” Sam Milby and Yassi Pressman’s “Tapes,” and The Gold Squad’s digital films—“Little Red Shoes” starring Kyle Echarri and Francine Diaz, and “Wild Little Love” starring Andrea Brillantes and Seth Fedelin.
Jodi Sta. Maria’s first project as a producer entitled “My Single Lady,” starring Ian Veneracion, Zanjoe Marudo, and Jodi herself, will also stream soon on iWant.
