ABS-CBN and UGAT Foundation’s EYLA (Epic Youth Leadership Awards) – the Gawad Geny Lopez Jr. Bayaning Pilipino Award category for organizations with proven accomplishments of e-movers, innovators and change-makers serving the youth in the U.S. and Canada -- will be at UNDISCOVERED SF on Saturday as it supports Kultivate Labs which won second place at the EYLA 2019 awards ceremony in April at Google Cloud in Sunnyvale.

Kultivate Labs – which conceived and produced UNDISCOVERED SF with SF event producer Make it Mariko -- is a non-profit business accelerator focused on vitalizing the economic activity of Filipinos and increasing public awareness of SOMA Pilipinas – the Filipino cultural heritage district in San Francisco. They strive to create a celebratory space containing innovative retail vendors, diverse restaurants, and local businesses that embody the Filipino resilience and culture which continues to adapt to the market needs of all San Franciscans.

UNDISCOVERED Season 3 is happening on Saturday, July 20 at 598 Stevenson Street, San Francisco, CA, with the entrance located at the intersection between 7th street and Stevenson street. It is completely free to attend, however, you can RSVP today to earn a free pin. There will be live performances from Jocelyn Enriquez, DJ Bitesize, Little Manila Dance Collective, and more!

There will also be multiple food vendors to excite the attendees hoping to delight their food palates. Some of the participating vendors are Barya Kitchen, Hookt Mini Donuts, MAC BBQ, and more. They will be selling different Filipino cuisine specials from the famous lumpia, lechon, to even Magnolia ube ice cream! Furthermore, UNDISCOVERED SF opens the space for different artists and local vendors to sell their work -- from Kapuwa which focuses on selling handcrafted pendants inspired by Philippine tattoo culture to Arkipelago Books which is the only distributor of specialty books outside the Philippines, and a bounty of other incredible vendors that will be present at the event.

EYLA is committed to supporting and encouraging all Filipino youth organizations and its participation at UN 3rd season is proof positive of that commitment. EYLA will be tabling at UNDISCOVERED from 4 to 8 pm giving away an array of incredible prizes from bags to EYLA hoodies with artwork created by the Bayani Art.
