Movie enthusiasts get to enjoy free access to four engrossing Filipino films “Historiographika Errata,” “Ka Oryang,” “Si Magdalola at Ang Mga Gago,” and “Bente” via
Cinema One YouTube channel.
The 2017 Cinema One Originals film “Historiographika Errata” starring Joem Bascon, Alex Medina, Max Eigenmann, and Nathalie Hart takes viewers to an extraordinary journey of a disillusioned and suicidal Rizal, a cross-dressing Bonifacio gripped with paranoia, an ex-Katipunero who joins the US army to save his own neck, and a widow whose errands lead her to become the first-ever Makapili.
“Ka Oryang,” meanwhile, is a tale of a young woman who witnesses the beginnings of a revolution during the martial law regime. Alessandra de Rossi plays the titular role in the drama film, which also stars Joem, Emilio Garcia, and Angeli Bayani.
Drug-dealing goons mistakenly disturb the peaceful lives in the mountains of a frail witch and her nubile grandchild in the film “Si Magdalola at Ang Mga Gago.” Peewee O’Hara, Rhen Escaño, Gio Gahol, and Josh Bulot lead the cast of this gripping crime drama.
“Bente,” which stars Richard Gomez, Snooky Serna, and Jinggoy Estrada, is another riveting movie that tells the story of a hard-hitting radio commentator and his conflict with a former classmate who is now a suburban town mayor, a tale that runs parallel to that of a student activist on the run with his activist girlfriend. Both narratives are interwoven with a third story that centers on a former military man-turned-assassin.

The movie, streaming on March 12, stars Joey de Leon, Rene Requiestas, and Maricel Laxa. It will be followed by “Elvis and James 2” on March 26, a movie top billed by Joey, Rene, and Regine Velasquez.
