Bianca and Robi; Elha and Jeremy G team up for hosting duties
Weekend nights will be thrilling once more as viewers will witness Rockstar Royalty Bamboo, Asia’s Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan, and the Philippines’ Concert King Martin Nievera discover and mentor new talent in the new season of “The Voice Kids” starting this weekend (Feb 25 & 26).
As one of the original coaches since the first season, Bamboo said he is excited for the fresh chapter of “The Voice Kids” as he shares the honor of sitting on the iconic red seat beside new coaches KZ and Martin.
“I do miss them [former coaches] a lot. Those were my guys as well. But I do look forward to this season. It is a new day,” he explained in an interview with “TV Patrol.”
KZ and Martin are also ready for the challenge of mentoring young singers who will someday carry on the OPM brand.
“I have very big shoes to fill. Medyo, mabigat ‘yung responsibility,” KZ admitted.
As a talent search program, “The Voice Kids” will be eliminating contestants in each phase of the competition, which is a heavy task for the coaches.
“Everyone knows how soft my heart is so I am really preparing myself. I might bring an extra heart,” Martin shared.
Meanwhile, Bianca Gonzalez and Robi Domingo will serve as hosts with Robi describing the new season as “kakaiba, pero exciting.”
Bianca, who is another addition to “The Voice Kids” family, took to social media to express her feelings on being part of the show.
“Still honestly incredibly surreal. Honored, happy, grateful, nervous, excited, halo-halo na,” she posted on Instagram along with behind-the-scenes photos from their taping.
Also among the fresh faces viewers should look forward to catching on the show are “The Voice Kids” season 2 champion Elha Nympha and “The Voice Teens” finalist Jeremy G who will be taking over online hosting duties as they get up close and personal with the young artists.
