The Sidlak Bisdak duo reimagines love duets

“Tawag ng Tanghalan: Duets” grand champions JM Dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano, also known together as JMielle, have released their EP collaboration called “JMielle in Love,” a heartfelt journey through the many shades of love.

The mini album, which was released under Star Music, has six Filipino tracks—five remakes and one original song—that explore love in its most vulnerable and honest form.

The Sidlak Bisdak duo’s version of “Paano Ba Ang Magmahal,” originally performed by Piolo Pascual and Sarah Geronimo in the film “The Breakup Playlist,” is the EP’s key track.

JM and Marielle also reimagined the OPM favorite “Ikaw” by Yeng Constantino and “Magpakailan Pa Man,” originally sung by Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.

The “TNT” alumni’s remake of “Parang Tayo Pero Hindi,” first performed by Angeline Quinto and Michael Pangilinan, is likewise part of the EP, as well as “Ikaw At Ako,” which was originally performed by Moira dela Torre and Jason Marvin Hernandez.

JMielle’s previously released original, “Pag Ang Puso Ang Nagsabi,” is included in the musical duo’s first EP.

The Kapamilya singers formally launched the “JMielle in Love” EP in a sold-out show recently held at Noctos Music Bar. They are also set to hold their second anniversary concert, "HEARTSTRINGS: Timeless Tunes Of Love," on August 22 (Friday) at SM North EDSA Skydome.

The “JMielle in Love” EP is now available on music streaming platforms. For more details, follow Star Music on Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
