Cherry Mobile (Cosmic Technologies Inc.), together with Programa Genio distributed school kits for 500 students of Dayap Elementary School Annex and Sto. Tomas Elementary School Annex in Southville 7, Calauan, Laguna last Friday, June 20, 2014. This is part of the back-to-school undertakings of the Cherry Mobile Cares Project called Be Cool in School Campaign where children from Kinder to Grade 6 are given backpacks with notebooks, papers and pencils. Aside from these, tokens like armbands, collapsible drinking bottles and fans were also given to students who gave special performances for the donors. As their way of saying thank you, the children from DESA and STESA charmed the crowd with their dance numbers. It was indeed a day full of fun and giving.

The BayaniJuan community was very appreciative as they truly need the school supplies to respond to the growing needs of students this school year. Fortunately there are companies like Cherry Mobile that "really really cares", as one of the principals put it. Programa Genio, on the other hand, will continue to make projects like this happen to further uplift the condition of many more public schools in the country.
