Sagip Kapamilya heads Jun Dungo (in white, Program Director) and Marcel Riñon (in green, Deputy Director) assist in giving pandesals to the student beneficiaries of Sagip Kapamilya Mobile Kitchen together with SK officers and volunteers.

Filipinos have been through different calamities that left the victims with no slightest trace where they once stood; devastated and feeling lost with empty stomachs.

Through the years, Sagip Kapamilya has been consistently reaching out to the needy by means of relief operations, shower caravans, feeding programs, school rebuilding, and other rehabilitation and risk reduction projects.

With Sagip Kapamilya’s mission to rebuild lives and communities, Sagip Kapamilya launched its new project, the “Sagip Kapamilya Mobile Kitchen” through a simultaneous feeding activity in three schools in Bulacan: Arsenio Santos Memorial Elementary School in Calumpit, Paombong Central School in Paombong, and Hagonoy East Central School Hagonoy.

”We have chosen 300 kids per school. Sila yung mga nasa undernourished o yung mga tinatawag na severely wasted and wasted yung kanilang body mass index,” Ria Rola, Sagip Kapamilya Program Assistant shared.

Sagip Kapamilya has three trucks for the Mobile Kitchen with the capacity to cook hot meals inside. “The real objective of the Mobile Kitchen is for disaster areas na kailangan natin sila bigyan ng mainit na makakain,” Higino Dungo, Sagip Kapamilya Program Director added.

The launch last July was also carried out in celebration of the National Nutrition Month.

Sagip Kapamilya, the emergency humanitarian assistance program of ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc., has assisted Filipinos affected by calamities whether natural or man-made for the past years because of the donations from different individuals, organizations, and companies.
