Children's Village receives love from Team Suzuki
Suzuki Philippines extends the season of giving as it turned over its donation to Children’s Village of Bantay Bata 163 – child welfare program of ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation Inc. (ALKFI)
Suzuki Philippines donated four motorbikes, air conditioners and electric fans. These motorbikes will be used for the errands of Bantay Bata 163’s staff. Air conditioners and electric fans will be distributed in every cluster to ensure comfort to the kids and visitors who will visit the Village.
The Children’s Village has opened its three clusters namely; Rosa Masaya (girls’ sleeping quarter), Ilang-Ilang (boys’ sleeping quarter) and, Admin Building for the staff of the Village, which includes the Social Hall where events take place.
“We believe in the advocacy of the foundation of protecting our children for a better country.” expressed by Norminio Mojica, Managing Director and Treasurer of Suzuki Philippines Inc.
Also present in the event are the Suzuki riders who donated stuffed toys, books and other learning materials which are necessary tools for children’s education.
Different personalities and influencers were also present in the event like Gab Lagman, Ana de Leon, and Benedict Cua. They had a chance to spend time, play, and entertain the kids of Children’s Village.
“It doesn’t only raise awareness.” Ana de Leon shares. “The kids should be able to feel that there are people who love them and that they are not alone, that there are actually people out there who can love them as if they are family.”
Suzuki Philippines is one of the long-term partners of ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation Inc. It extends its support to the disaster survivors Operation Sagip and marginalized communities through Bantay Kalikasan.
