Making Environmental Advocacies Fun to Children
Who would’ve thought that talking about climate change to kids will be fun?
Along the stretch of Estero de Pandacan, on its easement, 50 kids from barangay 847 in Pandacan, Manila, participated in a climate change discussion of Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig in partnership with the family of Ben Mead.
The presentation was accompanied with games and clean-up activities that talk about the environment such as charades and puzzles while the family also served hot meals to the children.
KBPIP, together with its partners, continues to hold discussions like this to involve children in environmental advocacies.
Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig is the river rehabilitation program of ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc.’s Bantay Kalikasan.
