“Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11” finalist Kai Montinola explores love, self-worth, and emotional growth in her debut extended play (EP) ”Kaileidoscope,” which swiftly claimed the top spot on iTunes Philippines albums chart while all of its tracks simultaneously occupied the top seven of the songs chart.
 
The mini album leans on the pop and light sound with its seven tracks which are “Hay Naku,” “Self Love Era,” “Overthink,” “Kung Pwede,” “For You,” “No Conversation,” and “Shooting Star” featuring “PBB Gen 11” alum Jarren Garcia. It was overall produced by StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos.
 


Kai seamlessly blends English, Filipino, and Cebuano lyrics in the key track “Overthink,” which speaks not only about being cautious in love but also reminding oneself to not be consumed by overthinking. The song was composed by Trisha Denise and produced by Rox Santos.
 
In celebration of the EP’s release, the Kapamilya artist brought a series of all-out performances in her sold out “Kai’s The Limit” album launch and fan meet held at the SM North Edsa Skydome last Saturday (June 28).
