Filipino families would often look forward to the heartwarming films of the acclaimed director Wenn Deramas every holiday season. His legacy lives on this December as ABS-CBN’s new streaming service iWant rekindles the magic and joy of his stories by streaming his last film, “Everybody Loves Baby Wendy.”
Expect fun, laughter, and a "Wenn-derful" Christmas treat from the iWant original movie that features Alex Gonzaga, who plays Wendy, a former child star who lost the public’s devotion and adoration after her tantrum went public.
Wendy grows up under the illusion that the public still loves her. As the family’s breadwinner, she struggles to provide for her loved ones but tries to reclaim her former glory by auditioning in different reality shows and TV competitions.
However, all of her efforts fail, and this is when Wendy finally realizes that her star has lost its power. Amidst the pain of rejection, a secret fan offers her a job as a barista at a coffee shop, where she meets the two men who will add spice to her life (JC De Vera and Matt Evans).
Adventures and lessons await Wendy as she makes a living as a barista while pursuing her dreams. Will she ever be able to revive her showbiz career and get another chance at stardom?
Also part of the cast are Tetchie Agbayani, Nikki Valdez, Isay Alvarez, Atak, Tess Antonio, Carla Humphries, Gold Villar, Angel Sy, Juvylyn Bison, Marco Santiago, and Rhed Bustamante, kasama ang special participation nina Cris Villanueva, Rubi Rubi, June Macasaet, Axel Torres, Josh De Guzman, Ruby Ruiz, and Vincent De Jesus.
