Leading Kapamilya primetime series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” is still unrivaled in national TV ratings after it beat its new rival show for two consecutive days, keeping its spot as the most watched program in the country last Monday (April 30) and Tuesday (May 1).
The series opened the week strongly as it garnered a national TV rating of 41.2%, compared to “The Cure,” which only got 17.9%, according to data from Kantar Media. “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” also maintained its lead last Tuesday, with 41.2%, while its rival show only got 16.4%.
As the story continues, Renato (John Arcilla) is still on his mission to get elected as a senator after he ordered his men to threaten a group of school teachers and poll watchers to make sure he wins the senatorial race. But Cardo (Coco Martin) and his group Vendetta came to the rescue and saved them from harm, putting a temporary halt to Renato’s corrupt activities.
However, Renato eyes the leader of a religious organization and attempts to coerce its members to vote for him.
Amidst the imminent risks, Cardo’s life is set to take an unexpected turn now that Andi (Jessy Mendiola) starts to catch feelings for him.
