The daily commute is going to be more enjoyable now that Filipinos can watch their favorite Kapamilya shows on their smartphones as ABS-CBN, the country’s leading media and entertainment company, rolls out the new ABS-CBN TVplus Go – the mobile version of its best-selling digital television product, ABS-CBN TVplus, today, June 1, in 28 Cellboy and Celltime branches located in SM Malls in Metro Manila.

The new ABS-CBN TVplus Go brings the experience of watching television with clear picture and crisp sound through a special dongle and mobile app. TVplus Go is the first product that lets Android smartphone users watch free-to-air TV and exclusive ABS-CBN channels. Free TV channels that broadcast in digital such as ABS-CBN and ABS-CBN S+A, as well as ABS-CBN TVplus exclusive channels that include DZMM TeleRadyo, CineMo, YeY, Knowledge Channel, MYX, Asianovela Channel, Movie Central, Jeepney TV, and O Shopping are just some of the channels you can watch in the new ABS-CBN TVplus Go.

“Millions of Filipinos use mobile devices as part of their everyday lives. We aim to serve every Filipino by providing easy and affordable access to entertainment and information from their favorite Kapamilya channels right at their fingertips with ABS-CBN TVplus Go.” Charles Lim, ABS-CBN Access head said.

ABS-CBN TVplus Go follows the success of ABS-CBN’s innovations—ABS-CBN TVplus, which made the company the country’s pioneer in digital terrestrial television when it was launched in 2015, has already sold over 7 million boxes as of end 2018; and iWant, a streaming app for Filipino movies and TV shows launched last year, has already been downloaded 11.3 million times.

With it, ABS-CBN brings the TVplus experience to Filipinos from the home to wherever there is a digital TV signal.

“This product will transform our customers’ daily inconveniences into moments of comfort and entertainment, and it will help change their outlook, as commute struggles will now become lighter and more bearable” Lim added.

ABS-CBN TVplus Go, which is priced at P799, is the newest part of the network’s growing portfolio of digital properties that accelerates ABS-CBN’s mission to lead the country’s shift from analog to digital before 2023.
