Action, love, and family stories will take over ABS-CBN’s upcoming shows as the Kapamilya network beefs up its lineup of programs, which were announced in the #ForeverKapamilya trade event last Tuesday (July 23) at the PICC Forum.
Maja Salvador marks her return to television as she stars in the teleserye “The Killer Bride” with Janella Salvador, Geoff Eigenmann, and Joshua Garcia. Judy Ann Santos is also slated to make her comeback and take over the TV screen with “Starla.”
Action on ABS-CBN will go a notch higher as the ensemble cast of Kapamilya actors, which include Gerald Anderson, Vin Abrenica, Elmo Magalona, Jerome Ponce, Yves Flores, Nash Aguas, and Carlo Aquino join forces to portray the lives of soldiers in “A Soldier’s Heart.” Ejay Falcon and Aljur Abrenica, on the other hand, are bitter rivals in their upcoming series “Sandugo.”
JM De Guzman, Arci Munoz, and Kiko Estrada will star in the story of a family whose strength will be tested by fate in “Pamilya Ko.”
Aside from the announcement of upcoming teleseryes, reality shows will also bring entertainment to Filipino homes soon. “The Voice Kids” and “I Can See Your Voice” are both returning to television for a new season, while the new and original reality-talent show “Your Moment” will give a fresh take on showcasing Pinoy talent.
More Asianovelas will also premiere in the Kapamilya network, including “Encounter,” “Gangnam Beauty,” and “I Have a Lover.”
Meanwhile, several Kapamilya stars also flocked to the venue that lit up the night as they performed for the advertisers. The live showdown between Romina and Daniela, played by Beauty Gonzalez and Dimples Romana, filled the venue with cheers. “Kadenang Ginto” cast and Gold Squad’s Francince Diaz, Kyle Echarri, Andrea Brillantes, and Seth Fedelin also impressed the audience as they danced to their “Halo-Halo” dance craze.
The cast of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” led by primetime king Coco Martin, was also present and earned loud applause for their song and dance number in celebration of the series’ 1000th episode. Adding a dose of kilig were “The General’s Daughter” lead stars Angel Locsin, JC De Vera, and Paulo Avelino as they serenaded the crowd through a love song.
The program ended with a stellar performance from Regine Velasquez, Moira Dela Torre, and James Reid with the “Search for the Idol Philippines” top 12.
