Avid “KBO” viewers now have the added convenience of subscribing to the weekly movie offerings using the CLiQQ kiosks in all 7-Eleven stores, nationwide, as ABS-CBN TVplus and Gate Distribution Enterprise Inc. have officially signed a partnership.
“This partnership gives subscribers more payment options, because, now, they can purchase KBO using cash,” Adrianne Reyes-Ismael, TVplus Product Manager, said.
To purchase KBO via CLiQQ, subscribers can head to the nearest 7-Eleven store and follow these simple steps—on the CLiQQ kiosk, press LOAD; choose KBO; then click KBO30; enter the “airing date” (space) “TVplus Box ID". After which, review and confirm the details; get the CLiQQ order slip, and proceed to the counter for payment.
7-Eleven Loyalty and Services Manager, Syndey Lau, meanwhile confirmed that 7-Eleven won’t be charging an add-on or service fee, on top of the P30.00 price of KBO.
KBO access can be immediately activated after payment through 7-Eleven, for as long as the subscriber’s TVplus box is tuned-in to KBO channel during the time of activation.
Adding to this new payment convenience is the availability of the service in 2,700 CLiQQ kiosks. Gate Distribution General Manager, Trisha Pascual, said this could grow even further because “after some period we can extend it to more than 12,000 partners of ECPay and Gate.”
