ABS-CBN’s newest original series “La Vida Lena” has entered the top ten most watched shows on iWantTFC with only two episodes, as the show’s riveting scenes keep viewers tuned in and excited for what happens next.
“La Vida Lena,” which drops new episodes every Saturday, follows Magda (Erich), a simple yet ambitious barrio girl who has been working hard to get her small business off the ground.
Her life has taken a turn for the worse after she refused to sell her soap formula to a giant corporation, owned by the wealthy Narciso family, who used their power and influence to send Magda’s grandfather to jail and file a baseless case against her.
Amidst the chaos, she seemed to have found her dream man in Miguel (Kit Thompson), who, unbeknownst to her, is Vanessa Narciso’s (Agot Isidro) nephew and whose intention is to get her soap’s secret recipe, make her fall in love with her, then ditch her.
Fans have called the series “telenovela-like,” while also praising Erich’s chemistry with her leading men, and the acting performances of Erich and the villains played by Agot, Sofia Andres, and Raymond Bagatsing.
