As Metro.Style’s newest cover girl, Atasha Muhlach shared her thoughts on the future, her family, and growing up.

Atasha Muhlach is all grown up! Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez-Muhlach’s unica hija comes of age on her very first fashion cover. As Metro.Style’s newest cover girl, she shared her thoughts on the future, her family, and growing up.

"The overall process of learning new things is not just from Point A to Point B to your destination. It's a matter of how you can get there and how far you can get," she said with a smile, showing the confidence she needs to live life the way it was meant to be lived whether she realizes it or not.

The 19-year-old also shared her thoughts about entering showbiz. Despite her affinity for the stage (she was in a production of “The Sound of Music”), Atasha hasn’t seriously considered a career in showbiz. She’s not opposed to the idea, but it's not something she wishes to actively pursue at the moment. If a door opens, she’ll keep a “why not?” attitude.

But Atasha talked about other things, too, from her hobbies—like painting—to her thoughts on social media. Visit Metro.Style for the full cover story.

In response, her father, Aga Muhlach, posted a heartfelt message on his Instagram account. He said, “Let me first just say how proud I am of you… my dearest @atashamuhlach… from the day you were born til present I would question myself countless times if I did the right thing raising you as a father. Seeing you on the cover of Metro… just made my heart so tender. Atasha you did this on your own and you know in your heart that I would always (well I’d like to believe that) make you decide on your own. My happiness is whatever and anything that’ll make you happy and you know that...”

Atasha was photographed on location at Okada Manila by Charisma Lico, with creative direction and production design by Chookie Cruz, sittings by Kat Cruz-Villanueva, makeup by Robbie Piñera, hairstyling by Antonio Papa, styling by Pam Quiñones, Shark Tanael, and Claire Fernando of Qurator Studio, videography by Bria Cardenas, and cover story by Sara delos Reyes.
