Streaming begins May 14
Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo is back by popular demand, on-demand as "Tala: The Film Concert" becomes available for viewing starting May 14 (Friday) with a subscription to Vivamax, Viva’s streaming app available on SKY.
Access to the app is priced at P149 a month, which can be charged conveniently through the monthly SKY billing.
Shot entirely in the Araneta Coliseum, "Tala: The Film Concert" promises viewers to bring the atmosphere of the famed Big Dome and a front-row seat to Sarah's scintillating music and dance performances in the comfort of their homes.
With the help of musical director Louie Ocampo, "Tala" features twists on Sarah's music hits, from her classic single "Sa Iyo," fierce rendition of "Kilometro," to the heart-pounding take on "Isa Pang Araw" that are ready to bring the Popster out of you.
Sarah G will also blow viewers away with her energetic performances of international chart-toppers, such as BTS's "Dynamite," The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights," and Dua Lipa's "Levitating." Plus, don't miss her cover of OPM rockstar Rico Blanco's rock hit, "Your Universe," which comes with a visually stunning music video directed by Paul Basinillo.
Aside from Sarah performing her notable hits on stage, different artists also join her for a spectacle-filled concert. Along the esteemed guests are Hale's frontman Champ Lui Pio, on-the-rise rapper J. Makata, and her loving husband Matteo Guidicelli for a special duet.
Among the talked-about musical numbers from her film concert is her "Ikot-Ikot" performance for its specialized studio set with a special contraption to make the stage roll in place while Sarah delivers her act. It was considered to be a death-defying stunt for the Popstar Royalty for its possible dangers of moving around while situated inside a spinning rig. Director Paul even disclosed the cost of the specialized set to be worth over a million pesos.
Aside from the encore of "Tala," subscribers can tune in to other entertaining concerts, such as Sarah Geronimo and Regine Velasquez's "Unified" concert, Anne Curtis' "The Forbidden Concert," and more. Plus, catch your favorite movie hits and Viva originals on the newest Pinoy streaming app.
