"Dream Maker," a collaboration between ABS-CBN's Starhunt, Korea's MLD Entertainment, and Kamp Korea Inc., brings in top-notch mentors from the Philippines and Korea to launch the next global pop group,whose members will come from the Philippines' first idol survival search,which will premiere on November 19 (Saturday).
Serving as mentors for the competition’s 62 dream chasers are Philippine Queen of Teleserye Themesongs Angeline Quinto, Now United member Bailey May, and international performer Darren Espanto.
Flying in from South Korea to be part of the group of mentors are Seo Won-jin, Bullseye, MOMOLAND and Lapillus choreographer Bae Wan-hee, former MBLAQ member Thunder, Brown Eyed Girls vocalist JeA, and choreographer and "Produce 101" dance mentor Bae Yoon-Jung.
“Dream Maker” announced last week "PBB" Big winner and Multimedia Idol Kim Chiu and the Noontime Oppa Ryan Bang will host the exciting idol survival search.
"Sobra akong nagpapasalamat sa tiwala at opportunity na ibinigay sa akin ng ABS-CBN for me to grow and learn at the same time. Ito na rin yung chance to show my supporters and lahat na kaya kong magtayo ng show na ito," Kim said.
For Ryan, "Gusto ko lang makatulong sa show. Natutuwa ako. Talagang itong 'Dream Maker,' tama yung pangalan nung show kasi matutupad yung mga pangarap ng Pilipino na gusto nila maging global icon. Hindi ito biro."
