Mall sales clerks take home P70,000
Good luck reigned supreme during the season two premiere of “Everybody, Sing!” on Saturday (Sept. 24) as the songbayanan of beauticians won the P1 million jackpot prize of ABS-CBN’s community singing game show.
The beauticians got to collect 80 seconds during the five rounds of the game, which they used to successfully guess the ten titles of the songs that the band Six Part Invention played in the jackpot round.
"Deserve niyo 'yan sa dami ng mga buhay na pinapaganda ninyo, sa dami ng mga mukhang pinapaganda ninyo, at sa dami ng mga damdaming pinapaganda ninyo. Congratulations. Bawat isa sa inyo tatanggap ng P20,000," Vice Ganda said after the thrilling guessing game of the songbayanan for the 10th and final song, which is "Mahal Na Kita."
In the second episode on Sunday (Sept. 25), the songbayanan of mall sales clerk also went home with smiles on their faces after they won P70,000 after guessing seven out of ten song titles correctly.
Meanwhile, Vice Ganda’s “Everybody, Sing!” also trended nationwide on Twitter as it registered multiple trending topics over the weekend. It also recorded 111,966 and 139,668 concurrent views on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
An original concept of ABS-CBN, “Everybody, Sing!” is a unique Filipino game show that aims to underscore the importance of bayanihan and teamwork in communities especially during this pandemic. The show has been nominated in the Venice TV Awards and Asian Academy Creative Awards in 2021.
