Jericho Rosales graces his first ever solo Metro digital cover.
Embracing new roles and taking creative risks
Asia’s Drama King Jericho Rosales reflects on rebuilding his self-esteem and taking steps for his personal growth after a five-year hiatus in his first solo Metro cover.
The Kapamilya actor is currently making waves as one of the lead stars of the hit ABS-CBN series “Lavender Fields” where he plays Tyrone, an enigmatic character that shows his complexity as an actor.
“Tyrone, my character in Lavender Fields, is a complex guy. He’s simple in what he wants—peace, quiet—but life doesn’t make that easy for him. That’s what excites me about him: he’s layered, and those layers are tricky to play with,” Jericho said in his exclusive Metro cover story.
During his hiatus, Echo revealed his struggles with anxiety and moving forward to pursue the opportunities he dreams of achieving. He described 2024 as his “yes year” after finding the courage to take risks and push boundaries.
“I had to do a lot of inner work, a lot of therapy, to realize na I was holding myself back. But now, I’m all in. I’ve been working on projects I’ve dreamed of for years, and I’m not scared anymore,” he shared.
Aside from his acting comeback, Echo has also embarked on other ventures that are keeping him busy yet refreshingly grounded. Learn more about his exciting era on Metro.Style’s cover feature “The Return of the King.”
