First music drop from their upcoming debut EP
Up-and-coming-artist Darren Cashwell, composed of musician siblings Darren Michael and Cashwell Macanaya, makes a bold confession in the newly-dropped single “NUMBER ONE.”
The dynamic pop duo penned, mixed, and produced the indie-pop track which talks about wanting to be the only person for their loved one. It was mastered by Grammy nominee collective The Bakery.
“NUMBER ONE” serves as the first single of Darren Cashwell’s upcoming debut EP “kinda not so in love” set to be released this year under Star Music.
The duo previously released the songs “Friday,” “sour patch,” and “quiet like u,” which have collectively garnered more than half a million streams on Spotify. They also collaborated with Jed Madela and DJ M.O.D. for the single “Just For You” and got featured on various Spotify editorial playlists including .ORG, tapioca, and Best of. ORG 2023.
