Mga propesor ng komunikasyon, nagsama-sama para sa ABS-CBN Pinoy Media Congress: Training the Teachers

This two-day event brought together about 100 PACE members, who teach various communication and journalism subjects in colleges nationwide, offering them a wealth of learning opportunities and fun-filled activities

Mahigit kumulang 100 miyembro ng Philippine Association of Communication Educators (PACE) ang dumalo

Mahigit kumulang 100 communication educators mula sa iba’t ibang kolehiyo sa bansa ang nagsama-sama para sa “Pinoy Media Congress: Training the Teachers,” na inorganisa ng ABS-CBN at ng Philippine Association of Communication Educators (PACE) nitong Hulyo 25 at 26.

Layunin ng “Training the Teachers” na magbigay kaalaman sa mga guro patungkol sa mga kasalukuyang isyu at ginagawa ng media sa pagbabalita, film and entertainment production, digital media, marketing, research, at creative communications.

Nakisaya rin ang mga lumahok sa masasayang aktibidad na hatid nito, gaya ng studio tour pati meet-and-greet kasama ang mga host ng “It’s Showtime” na sina Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Kim Chiu, Amy Perez, Darren Espanto, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, Ryan Bang, Jackie Gonzaga, at Cianne Dominguez. Bumisita rin sa event ang host-comedienne na si Melai Cantiveros para maghatid saya sa “Training the Teacher” delegates.

Ito ang ikalawang pagkakataon na nagkasama ang ABS-CBN at PACE para maglunsad ng training program para sa mga communication educator, 13 taon ang nakalipas magmula ang una nitong edisyon. Bukod dito, magkaisa rin sila para sa “Pinoy Media Congress” na layong bumisita sa mga iba’t ibang paaralan sa bansa para mamahagi ng kaalaman sa industriya sa mga guro at mag-aaral.

Bilang pagkilala sa matagal nitong partnership at pagsuporta sa ABS-CBN, iginawad sa PACE ang certificate of appreciation, na inpiniresenta nina ABS-CBN chairman Mark Lopez, president at chief executive officer Carlo Katigbak, chief operating officer Cory Vidanes, at VP/head of corporate communications Kane Errol Choa.

“ABS-CBN is proud to host this important event with PACE. Our goal is to provide educators with the knowledge and tools they need to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving field of media and communications,” sabi ni Kane.

Lubos naman ang pasasalamat ng PACE president na si Mark Lester Del Mundo Chico sa kanilang partnership sa ABS-CBN. Saad niya, “We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with ABS-CBN once again. This event has been incredibly beneficial for our members, and we look forward to more collaborations in the future.”
