ABS-CBN reporter Andrea Taguines sits down with “Sparks Camp” host Mela Habijan, a powerful advocate for equal rights of the LGBTQIA+ community, as she shares her inspiring journey as a proud and successful transwoman on “Tao Po” this September 1 at 6:30 pm.
 
In the interview, the mother sparker tells Andrea her transition from a life shadowed by fear of judgment to a life where she now boldly celebrates her identity and successes. Besides being an LBTQIA+ advocate, writer, and host, Mela was also crowned as Miss Trans Global 2020, and is now pursuing graduate studies in Spain.
 
This Sunday, Bernadette Sembrano also features Jheanicka Esplago, a 28-year-old who remains determined in life despite facing multiple adversities like a health condition that requires her to use a colostomy bag and surviving typhoon Ondoy and typhoon Carina.
 
Meanwhile, Kabayan Noli de Castro introduces viewers to 52-year-old “Mang Osy,” a father and grandfather who inspires his community with his resilience and dedication despite having physical disability since birth. He used to make a living by selling vegetables, but has now shifted to charging various types of batteries. Because of his strong resolve, Mang Osy’s youngest child is set to graduate from a three-year course.
