Holy Week special to feature inspiring films “Tanging Yaman,” “Madrasta,” “Magnifico,” and more
“Incognito” star Daniel Padilla takes viewers into a trip down memory lane with some of his box-office films taking the spotlight on Cinema One this April.
Catch the Kapamilya actor as the childhood best friend named Ivan in “Must Be Love” on Apr. 23, aspiring musician Primo in “The Hows of Us” on Apr. 24, and rebellious teen named Cedric in “Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay” on Apr. 25. It will air from Wednesday to Thursday at 7pm and Friday at 8pm.
Cinema One viewers will also get to witness the story of former Philippine president Manuel L. Quezon in the premiere of “Quezon’s Game” on Blockbuster Sundays at 7pm. The biographical drama film topbilled by Raymond Bagatsing covers Quezon’s plan to rescue Jewish refugees from the Holocaust while dealing with his illness.
Aside from “Quezon’s Game” which airs on Apr. 6, the Sunday primetime block will also feature Sharon Cuneta and John Arcilla’s “Kuwaresma” on Apr. 13, Aga Muhlach, Cristine Reyes, Dingdong Dantes, Enrique Gil, and Ronaldo Valdez’s “Seven Sundays” on Apr. 20, and Kim Chiu’s “U-Turn” on Apr. 27.
