Majority of households nationwide still turned to ABS-CBN for their dose of relevant news stories and inspiring shows in July, leading the network to hit an average audience share of 45%, or 13 points higher than GMA’s 32%, according to data from Kantar Media.
“Probinsyano,” “Idol” nanguna tuwing weekday at weekend
Nakatutok pa rin ang karamihan ng mga kabahayan sa buong bansa sa ABS-CBN na naghatid ng mahahalagang balita at makabuluhang mga palabas noong Hulyo, matapos itong makakuha ng average audience share na 45%, o 13 puntos na lamang laban sa 32% ng GMA, ayon sa datos ng Kantar Media.
Katulad ng mga nakaraang buwan, hindi pa rin natitinag ang “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” (37.6%) bilang pinakapinapanood na programa ng mga Pilipino nationwide. Kasunod naman nito ang action-drama na “The General’s Daughter” (31.3%).
Nagtapos naman ang unang season ng “Search for the Idol Philippines” (30.1%) bilang numero unong programa tuwing weekend, habang hawak pa rin ng “TV Patrol” (28.5%) ang titulo bilang most watched weekday newscast sa buong bansa.
Marami ring mga Pilipino ang patuloy na tumatangkilik sa mga nakakaantig na mga kwento na handog ng “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (24.8%), habang nakasubaybay pa rin ang viewers sa matitinding kaganapan sa “Kadenang Ginto” (24.1%) tuwing hapon.
Pasok din sa listahan ng most watched programs noong Hulyo ang “Hiwaga ng Kambat” (23.6%) at “Home Sweetie Home: Extra Sweet” (21.6%).
Samantala, ABS-CBN din ang nanguna sa iba’t-ibang time blocks, partikular na sa primetime at sa afternoon block. Nagkamit ang Kapamilya network ng 47%, kumpara sa 31% ng GMA sa primetime block. Pagdating naman sa afternoon block (3 PM to 6PM), nakapagtala rin ang ABS-CBN ng 47% at tinalo ang 33% ng GMA.
Namayagpag din ang Kapamilya network sa morning block (6 AM to 12 NN) sa pagtala nito ng 39%, kumpara sa 30% ng GMA at sa noontime block (12 NN to 3 PM) sa pagrehistro nito ng 44% kontra sa 34% ng GMA.
Panalo rin sa ratings ang Kapamilya network sa Metro Manila sa pagtala nito ng 41% laban sa 26% ng GMA; sa Mega Manila sa pagrehistro nito ng 36% kontra sa 32% ng GMA; sa Total Luzon kung saan nakakuha ito ng 40% kumpara sa 34% ng GMA; sa Total Visayas kung saan nakaani ito ng 53% laban sa 25% ng GMA, at sa Total Mindanao kung saan nakakuha ang ABS-CBN ng 52% kontra sa 29% ng GMA.
Kinakatawan ng Kantar Media ang 100% ng mga manonood ng telebisyon sa buong bansa sa paggamit nito ng nationwide panel size na 2,610 na urban at rural homes.
