JoshLia fans are sure to swoon all over again as the tandem’s Star Cinema movie, “I Love You, Hater,” premieres on television this weekend on KBO.
Joshua Garcia plays Joko, a young man who is only trying to help his family survive, while Julia Barretto plays Zoey, a girl out to prove herself to the world. An opportunity knocks for both when Kris Aquino, who plays Sasha, starts looking for a new personal assistant. But only one can get the job.
Joko goes all out to earn the post, and even pretends to be gay to get closer to his potential boss. Will their own goals prevail? Or will they set aside their differences and find true happiness and love in the end?
“I Love You, Hater” is the fast rising loveteam’s fourth movie in just two years since being paired together.
This film also marks the comeback of Kris Aquino and is only the second directorial film of Gisele Andres.
Joining “I Love You, Hater” this Saturday (Oct. 13) and Sunday (Oct. 14) are Da One That Ghost Away,” “Woke Up Like This,” “Die Beautiful,” and “10000 Hours.”
