Kris Aquino, RB’s esteemed client for seven year now, wrote the foreword in “RBeautified,” citing the author’s ability to use her skills to enhance one’s gifts. “My makeup with RB has always looked like me—just a better, more polished, softer, and prettier version of me,” shared the “I Love You Hater” actress.
 
A Pinay cosmetics pro for two decades now, RB made headlines for doing the makeup of Miss France 2016’s Iris Mittenaere when she competed and eventually won in the Miss Universe pageant held in Manila.
 
”My life is the epitome of what makeup can do to your life. . . . For every imperfection or flaw that you see, there is a process to beautify it,” wrote the author who uses the hashtag #RBeautified in her makeup looks, coined by Charlene Gonzales-Muhlach, which branded RB’s style one-of-a kind.
 
RB encouraged readers to extend their personality, redefine character, and find individuality through cosmetics. “Makeup can be your weapon to aid you in your own battles, the same way that makeup has been my inspiration, motivation, support, and savior,” she said.
 
Aside from the signature looks of her biggest clients, RB’s revelations in the makeup manual include the 10-step skincare routine, 5 beauty habits that will change lives, contouring and highlighting commandments, and easy guide on making eyebrows on fleek.
 
“RBeautified” features some of RB’s famous clientele on separate covers— Erich Gonzales, Julia Barretto, Loisa Andalio, Ronnie Alonte, and Vice Ganda— as well as the author’s very own, with a total of six different covers.
 
The new book is not just about cosmetics for women, thus the inclusion of her cousin, Ronnie, on the cover. “Makeup is not effeminate, even if that’s the opinion the society dictates,” she shared. “Women aren’t the only ones who need to look fab!”
