The whole cast of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” continues to bring joy to fans in different provinces as it celebrates its third anniversary with love and gratitude this month.
Exciting surprises await Bulakenyos as the cast, led by Coco Martin, visits San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan on October 7 (Sunday) with the “Sorpresaya Truck” of ABS-CBN TVplus. The show previously kicked off its month-long celebration by bonding with fans in Malolos, Bulacan and Lubao, Pampanga.
“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” also brought the thanksgiving spirit to “ASAP” last Sunday (September 23), where Coco thanked the show’s fans for their unwavering support.
“The show really is hard to do, honestly. But we don’t mind if it rains or if there’s a storm, what’s important is we have something to air every night. Because we know that the show gives inspiration to all Filipinos,” said Coco.
The thanksgiving special also featured the organizations the show has helped through the years such as the Little Lights Ministry and Paradise Farms Community School, whose members thanked the series for inspiring children.
Also part of this month’s celebration is the official launch of its newest theme song “Ililigtas Ka Niya,” which is sung by Gary Valenciano and is now available on Spotify.
Since it started airing in 2015, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” has remained as the most watched program in the country. It hit an all-time high national TV rating of 46.7% in 2016, followed by 46.2% this year, according to data from Kantar Media.
The series has also been recognized by several government officials, namely former DILG secretary Mike Sueno and director general of the Bureau of Corrections Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, who commended Coco’s character for setting as a good example to local authorities.
