Bicolanos had a lot to be thankful for during the Penafrancia Festival as the stars of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” led by Coco Martin, added color and joy to the cheerful event through the Kapamilya Karavan.
Coco Martin and Yassi Pressman sent a shockwave of kilig to Bicolanos who trooped to SM City Naga’s open parking area as they entertained them with romantic song and dance numbers.
Laughter also erupted at the venue as “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” stars Basilyo, Smugglaz, PJ Endrinal, and Empoy made sure that Bicolanos had the time of their lives with their favorite Kapamilya stars.
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN Regional through its Bicol station, also expressed solidarity with the festival when it aired a three-hour comprehensive coverage of the Penafrancia festival titled, “Misyon na may Puson Joven Kaiba ni Maria.” It featured the Fluvial Procession of the images of Our Lady of Penafrancia and El Divino Rostro (the Holy Face of Jesus) to the Basilica Minore.
There was also a livestream of the momentous events via the Choose Philippines website so devotees who were unable to attend the religious tradition did not miss anything.
