iWant will make ten premium movie titles accessible for free to all its users every week for seven weeks, until January 5, 2020.
Local streaming platform iWant is going full out for the celebration of its relaunch’s first anniversary as it unlocks a premium world for all its subscribers this month.
Reintroduced as a streaming platform with original video content in November 2018, iWant will make ten premium movie titles accessible for free to all its users every week for seven weeks, beginning November 18 until January 5, 2020.
The binge fest begins this week (November 18 to 24) as iWant’s free anniversary treat offers “Kita Kita,” “Sid and Aya,” “Never Not Love You,” “”Dalawang Mrs. Reyes,” “My Ex and Whys,” “I Love You, Hater,” “Changing Partners,” “I’ve Fallen For You,” “Loving in Tandem,” and “100 Tula Para Kay Stella.”
More options will be made available to those who are planning their movie marathons from November 25 until December 1 with “Barcelona: A Love Untold,” “”First Love” “Sakaling Maging Tayo,” “Sin Island,” “My Perfect You,” “Die Beautiful,” “Last Night,” “Saving Sally,” Last Fool Show,” and “My Fairy Tale Love Story.”
Aside from the free premium titles, iWant continues to produce original movies and series that resonate with Filipinos as it goes into its second year.
This December, users can look forward to the series “Manillennials,” about five millennials coming to terms with their careers and identities in Manila, as well as “Pet Rangers,” iWant’s first animated original series for kids. Joseph Marco and Yam Concepcion also team up for the first time in the original series “Uncoupling.”
On iWant, pageant aficionados will also be able to follow Bb. Pilipinas Gazini Ganados’ journey and fight for the crown in the Miss Universe 2019 competition. After the successful UAAP Season 82 Men's Basketball, sports fans can also catch select SEA Games events live and on replay, as well as “Dayories,” an iWant original sports documentary featuring UAAP stars Ange Kouame, Rhenz Abando, and Ricci Rivero.
Since its relaunch in November 2018, iWant, which boasts the biggest library of Filipino video content, has produced original movies, series, and documentaries month after month – setting itself apart from other streaming platforms and changing the landscape of Filipino entertainment and digital content.
iWant has also enlisted different creators, producers, and filmmakers to make original titles, including the viral romance “Glorious,” socio-political piece “Bagman,” the satirical comedy “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 3,” the sexy comedies “Call Me Tita” and “MOMOL Nights,” coming-of-age romance drama “Past, Present, Perfect?” and advocacy series “Mga Batang Poz” about HIV-positive teens that won Best Original Programme by a Streamer/OTT at this year’s Asian Academy Creative Awards.
