The gripping scenes in the Kapamilya afternoon series “Kadenang Ginto” keep viewers tuned in as it continues to lead the afternoon block nationwide, winning against its new rival show last Monday (February 11).
The Kapamilya series recorded a national TV rating of 19%, or seven points higher compared to “My Special Tatay” that only got 12% on Monday (February 11), according to data from Kantar Media. Last Friday (February 8), “Kadenang Ginto” also won its timeslot with 19.1%, beating the finale episode of “Ika-5 Utos” with only 12.9%.
"Kadenang Ginto" is also a major hit in the online world as the show’s highlights consistently garner millions of views on YouTube and joins the list of trending topics on Twitter daily.
Viewers cannot get enough of the Kapamilya series, where Romina (Beauty Gonzales) finally got her hands on the CCTV footage showing the plate number of the car that was used to abduct her the night she was taken advantage of. This revelation will make it harder for Alvin (Eric Fructuoso) hide the truth as authorities begin to hunt him down.
However, Daniela (Dimples Romana) will do what it takes to clean up Alvin’s mess so their deceitful schemes will not be exposed.
Will Romina ever get the justice she deserves?
