Out of concern for fellow civilians
Philip’s (Donny Pangilinan) sense of duty is ignited after he fights against goons who robbed a jeepney at gun-point this Saturday (May 25) in “Ipaglaban Mo.”
Because of a fight with estranged mother Melba (Ana Abad Santos), Philip leaves the house and finds himself in the midst of a hold-up robbery incident. He instantly defends himself and his fellow passengers against the criminals—Ton (Julian Trono), a teenage father who resorted to crime to make ends meet and the main propagator of the crime, Temyong (Ben Manalo) who is a slave to vices.
Eva (Malou Canzana), who is looking for her runaway son June (Jomari Angeles), and her sister Clara (Riva Quenery) are also caught in the incident. Out of fear, Eva suddenly jumps out of the vehicle, which angers the criminals and pushes them to push Clara out. The two succeed in taking all the possessions of the passengers as well as the earnings of the driver.
Will Philip’s testimony help in putting everything to justice? What will happen to Eva’s family?
