Viewers will fall in love all over again with the romantic pairing of Kuh Ledesma and Christopher de Leon as ABS-CBN Film Restoration's Sagip Pelikula Festival premieres the movie "Tinimbang Ang Langit," along with other titles restored by ABS-CBN this February on KTX.PH.
The 1982 classic directed by Danny Zialcita brings the story of Victoria (Kuh), a struggling singer looking for a big break in the music industry. She meets the celebrated songwriter Joel (Christopher), who falls in love with her.
According to ABS-CBN Film Restoration head Leo Katigak, the movie suffered not only visual impairments, but also audio distortion that an alternative audio source abroad was used to help restore the movie's sound.
"Tinimbang ang Langit" was first released in cinemas nearly 39 years ago on May 28, 1982, and also starred Rio Locsin, Suzanne Gonzales, Jose Garcia, Anita Linda, among others.
The premiere on KTX.PH comes with a pre-show which will feature Kuh Ledesma and Rio Locsin looking back on the days when the movie was made.
Relive the drama and its compelling soundtrack in high-definition as ABS-CBN Film Restoration and its Sagip Pelikula project brings the digitally restored and remastered "Tinimbang ang Langit" on KTX.ph, the one-stop-shop for exclusive online Kapamilya events and premieres, this February 9 (Tuesday) at 7:30 PM.
