Zsa Zsa Padilla leads Filipino guest stars in next episode
After helping catch a drug smuggler and a human trafficker, former secret agent Alex Walker, played by Hollywood actor Christian Kane, will face another band of dangerous criminals this Sunday (April 4), 8:45 pm on “Almost Paradise.”

Meanwhile, Ernesto’s fellow detective Kai Mendoza (Sam Richelle) will get assigned as close-in security of Governor Nina Rosales, portrayed by Zsa Zsa Padilla. As she guards the official, Kai will also discover something shady about a colleague.
The upcoming episode, which is written by Ty Freer and Nick Keetch and directed by Fil-Am director Francis dela Torre, also features local actors Nonie Buencamino, Lou Veloso, Michael Roy Jornales, Eric Tai, Zeppi Borromeo, and Ricci Chan.
Since it premiered last March 21, “Almost Paradise” has been receiving rave reviews from viewers. Anticipation has been high for its local debut since it is the first U.S. series shot entirely in the Philippines and which boasts of an all-star Filipino cast and production crew.

A project of Electric Entertainment and ABS-CBN, “Almost Paradise” follows the story of a retired U.S. DEA agent who is hoping for a fresh start in the Philippines after experiencing betrayal and developing a medical condition because of his work. He, however, could not help but return to his old ways as he helps local cops catch rich and powerful criminals wandering in the island paradise he now calls home.
