ABS-CBN continues to deliver topnotch Sunday daytime viewing experiences on TV5 nationwide, as it brings Fernando Poe Jr.’s acclaimed action movies “Ang Padrino” and “Ang Pagbabalik ng Panday” via “FPJ: Da King” on May 23 and 30, respectively.

TV5 viewers who use digital TV boxes such as the TVplus simply need to rescan their device to catch these movies.

In “Ang Padrino,” Fernando Poe, Jr. plays the town mediator Emong, who has a gift for settling even the most difficult disputes. It is a trait that has earned him the title “Padrino.”

But Emong’s gift is soon challenged as influential people get away with crimes against the people in his own community, pushing him to the edge as he transforms himself into both judge and executioner.

Meanwhile, the blacksmith Flavio returns in “Ang Pagbabalik ng Panday,” to take down his enemy Lizardo (Max Alvarado), who has come back from the dead to wreak havoc throughout the land.

As Flavio and his allies Temyong (Lito Anzures) and Lando (Bentot, Jr.) set off on a journey to hunt him down, they encounter dark creatures and Bruhilda (Rosemarie Gil), the sorceress who resurrected Lizardo and endowed him with powers that even Flavio's legendary sword will not be able to match.

“FPJ: Da King” is seen on TV5 every Sunday after “ASAP Natin ‘To” wherein viewers get to enjoy a weekly concert experience with the world class performances of the brightest Kapamilya celebrities at 12 noon.

TV5 is one of the many platforms where Filipinos can enjoy their favorite shows as ABS-CBN continues to find ways to reach audiences wherever they may be. Viewers in the Visayas and Mindanao can also catch these weekend shows on cable TV through A2Z Channel at Kapamilya Channel.

ABS-CBN recently launched its "Andito Kami Para Sa' Yo" campaign, a year after the shutdown of its broadcast operations, to reiterate its commitment to serving and providing Filipinos with entertainment through its shows on free TV, cable TV, and online.

Online, viewers nationwide can tune in to these shows on Kapamilya Online Live on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel and Facebook page. To watch advanced episodes, just use the iWantTFC app or website, or WeTV and iflix.
