A song about breaking free from a toxic relationship
Male crooner Tim Pavino travels back to the heart-wrenching sound of the early ‘90s through his liberating single “No More You And I,” released under ABS-CBN’s Old School Records.
“Sometimes the only way to fix things is to leave it broken and move to the next chapter,” said the former “The Voice of the Philippines” season 2 semi-finalist.
A melodramatic track channeling the somber yet affecting ‘90s slow jams, “No More You And I” serves as an honest hymn of a person who has reached his breaking point in a sinking relationship.
The song is a writing collaboration of Tim with Raizo Chabeldin and Old School Records’ label head KIKX Salazar, whom he previously worked with for two of his songs “Ulap” and “Dalangin” from his 2019 EP “Dreams.”
In 2020, he also dropped a stripped version of “Dalangin,” inspired by his moments of reflection during quarantine.
