Will Jane and Edward overcome their challenges as a couple? Will Andrea finally pay for her crimes?
Mylene’s true identity revealed…
It’s a no! Edward (Ronnie Alonte) was left heartbroken after Jane (Loisa Andalio) rejected his marriage proposal in ABS-CBN’s fantasy romantic-comedy “Love in 40 Days,” which airs weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and TV5.
Right before Edward’s proposal, Jane found out that Edward’s mom, Andrea (Mylene Dizon), is the real mastermind of an investment scam and is also involved in the murder attempt on Jane that almost left her dead.
The truth is slowly unfolding after Marco (Ahron Villena), Jane’s former boss who was also involved in Andrea’s sketchy business, admitted to his crimes and now wants to end Andrea’s evil tactics.
Marco also exposed Andrea’s long-kept dark secret - that she staged her death years ago and changed her identity in order to escape her arrest for a multi-million pyramid scam.
Jane will face an uphill battle in proving that Andrea is guilty since Andrea’s family, who is completely unaware of Andrea’s doings, believes that she is innocent and will do everything to clear her name.
Because of this, Jane and Edward’s relationship will go through a rough patch. More problems will also arise for Edward when he finds out that his real mom is actually Ofelia (Janice de Belen), their long-time helper.
Will Jane and Edward overcome their challenges as a couple? Will Andrea finally pay for her crimes?
