Actress and social media sensation Ivana Alawi remains a Kapamilya as she signed an exclusive network contract with ABS-CBN last Wednesday (July 19).
"I feel so happy and I feel so blessed. I am here where I’m supposed to be," Ivana said. “I have three things that I’m very very thankful for. Of course, unang una sa mga bosses po natin dito sa ABS-CBN, maraming maraming salamat sa tiwala, sa suporta at sa pagmamahal niyo sa akin. Of course to my manager, kuya Perry, Star Magic, Sir Lauren, maraming salamat.”
ABS-CBN COO of broadcast Cory Vidanes expressed her gratitude to the Kapamilya actress for staying with ABS-CBN.
“Maraming maraming salamat, Ivana, sa patuloy mong pagbigay ng tiwala at pagpapahalaga sa ABS-CBN, sa aming lahat, at sa ating mga Kapamilya. I assure you that we will continue to take care of you and we will build an even stronger relationship as I promised you. Maraming salamat sa sinseridad, sa pagmamahal, at sa pagpili mong manatili kasama namin sa pagbibigay saya, inspirasyon, pag-asa, at serbisyo sa lahat ng Pilipino sa buong mundo,” she said.
Present at the contract signing were ABS-CBN chairman Mark Lopez, ABS-CBN president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, ABS-CBN head of TV Production and Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi, Star Magic’s Alan Real, and talent manager Perry Lansigan.
'The Voice' Jed Madela performed "Akin Ka Na Lang," the theme song of "A Family Affair," while Robi Domingo hosted the contract signing event.
Meanwhile, Ivana said she is busy undergoing workshops and going to the gym to prepare for her upcoming projects this year.
“We’re doing teleseryes this year and meron ding mga movies. So ‘yun, maraming exciting na projects na parating,” she said.
In the coming years, Ivana hoped that she gets to work with Coco Martin, Joshua Garcia, and KathNiel.
Ivana signed her first exclusive contract with ABS-CBN three years ago after being part of "Mea Culpa: Sino Ang May Sala" and "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano." She had her first lead role as Cherry Red in the revenge drama series "A Family Affair" with Gerald Anderson, Jake Ejercito, Jameson Blake, and Sam Milby last year and starred with Vice Ganda in the blockbuster movie “Partners In Crime.”
