Mas tataas ang pananabik sa “The Bagman,” ang 2024 international action-drama series ng ABS-CBN, na pagbibidahan nina Arjo Atayde, John Arcilla, at Judy Ann Santos, dahil makakasama nila ang ilan sa mga premyadong mga artista sa bansa.
Kabilang sa cast ng “The Bagman,” ang premium spin-off ng iWant digital series na “Bagman,” sina Tirso Cruz III, Ryan Eigenmann, Charlie Dizon, Gela Atayde, Joem Bascon, Art Acuna, Chai Fonacier, Sheila Valderrama, Ana Abad Santos, Al Tantay, Nino Muhlach, Jeffrey Santos, at Ynez Veneracion.
Magkakaroon ang “The Bagman” ng walong (8) one-hour episode na ipo-produce ng ABS-CBN International Productions, Dreamscape Entertainment, Rein Entertainment, at Nathan Studios Inc. Nasimulan na rin ang principal photography ng serye noong Pebrero 25 at kasado na itong ibenta sa FILMART, ang pinakamalaking film at entertainment content marketplace sa Asya, para makahanap ng co-production partners at makalikom ng pre-sales mula Marso 11-14, 2024 sa Hong Kong.

Sa “The Bagman,” magbabalik si Arjo Atayde bilang si Benjo Malaya, ang barber na naging tauhan ng gobernador na ngayon ay isa ng bilanggo. Nang malaman ni Benjo na nawawala ang kanyang pamilya, mapipilitan siyang bumalik sa kanyang madilim at mapangahas na nakaraan para simulan ang kanyang misyon bilang bagman ng presidente ng Pilipinas upang pigilan ang isang napipintong digmaan.
Samantala, bilang bahagi ng misyon ng ABS-CBN na maging isang global storytelling company, pinangunahan ng ABS-CBN International Productions ang unang ABS-CBN Hollywood Bootcamp, kung saan nagkaroon ang piling creatives mula sa ABS-CBN Films, TV Production, at International Productions ng online masterclasses sa loob ng walong linggo na pinamunuan ni Los Angeles-based Development Executive for International Productions, Lea Dizon, tampok ang ilang Hollywood executives.
Sinundan ito ng limang buwang hybrid Project Incubator, kung saan nakipagtulungan ang mga Kapamilya creative kay Dizon para mabuo ang kanilang personal passion projects na nagtapos sa isang Pitch Fest activity noong Pebrero 22-23, 2024.
