Zyann Ambrosio uncovers the story of 'Pinturados,' while Kabayan visits local siblings from resurfaced sunken town
Bernadette Sembrano steps out of the newsroom as she warms up her vocal cords and joins Darren Espanto in rehearsal for his upcoming 10th-anniversary concert in "Tao Po" on Sunday (May 5).
Darren, also known as Asia's Pop Heartthrob, looked back on his career journey from his early days on "The Voice Kids" to his venture into acting. He joyfully discussed achieving his dream of performing on "ASAP Natin 'To" and his lifelong desire to hold a concert with a specific Filipino artist he admires. On top of that, he fearlessly didn't shy away from addressing recent controversies about his love life.
Meanwhile, reporter Zyann Ambrosio unmasked the person behind the painted face of mime artist and living statue Rodel Bartido, famously dubbed as "Pinturados." Rodel shared his journey of finding his passion while working as a tour guide and the challenges of becoming a street performer. Together with Zyann, Pinturados showcased his skills at the Quezon Memorial Circle during the ABS-CBN Grand Kapamilya Summer Fair on April 27.
After being submerged for 50 years under the waters of the dam, the town of Pantabangan, also known as the old sunken town, has resurfaced due to drought. Kabayan Noli De Castro embarked on a journey to Nueva Ecija to meet with two siblings born and raised in the town, Agripino Vargas and 83-year-old Sonia Cuario. Together, they revisited their favorite spots from childhood five decades later.
