Journalists Niña Corpuz and Migs Bustos team up every afternoon to share relevant and inspiring stories on “Nagseserbisyo Niña Corpuz,” a comprehensive public service program addressing issues on health, education, business, and other matters.
Airing on weekdays at 4:30 pm via Radyo 630 and Teleradyo Serbisyo on TV, “Nagseserbisyo Niña Corpuz at Migs Bustos,” brings public service projects closer to Filipinos.
“Gusto naming ilapit ‘yung mga serbisyo ng pamahalaan, ng grupo, ng isang organisasyon - whether private or government - sa mga tao. Nandiyan naman ‘yung mga serbisyo na ‘yan, minsan kailangan lang ng impormasyon para mailapit sa kanila ‘yung mga serbisyo na kailangan nila,” Niña said.
Niña said the show features stories that are timely and relatable such as guides on how to apply for government loans, among others.
“Kailangan timely at nakaka-relate ‘yung mamamayan. Dapat kung ano ang kailangan malaman ng taumbayan,” Niña said.
“Nagseserbisyo Niña Corpuz at Migs Bustos” also seeks to spread good vibes to audiences, wanting them to feel empowered after tuning into their program. In fact, the one-hour show offers different segments such as “KOTD (Kaserbisyo of the Day),” “Doktor Serbisyo,” “Grow Negosyo,” “Pet-malu,” and “Sino po Sila,” a feature on modern-day heroes who have made a meaningful social impact.
As for Migs, he finds fulfillment every time audiences feel empowered because of stories they feature, adding that they want the show to serve as a platform for inspiring individuals to share their stories of love and hope.
“Tayo lang ‘yung tagapaghatid ng balita at para maging bida ‘yung iba. So fulfilled kami in our own way kapag may na-inspire sa kwentong ‘to or meron kaming natulungan because of this interview,” Migs said.
