A mix of comedy, romance, and heroism every Sunday of the month

Cinema One puts the spotlight on Primetime King Coco Martin with a special movie lineup that brings together his most action-packed, feel-good, and crowd-favorite films in Blockbuster Sundays this November.

Viewers can catch Coco in a mix of comedy, romance, and heroism through five of his box-office hits airing every Sunday at 7pm.

1. In “Maybe This Time,” which airs on Nov. 2, Steph (Sarah Geronimo) and Tonio (Coco Martin) were once each other’s “almost love story” until life pulled them apart. Years after a love that never quite bloomed, Steph and Tonio meet again to work together for Tonio’s bar opening. But as sparks rekindle and old wounds reopen, they must decide if love truly deserves a second chance or if some things are better left in the past.

2. Coco shares the big screen with Jennylyn Mercado in “3pol Trobol: Huli Ka Balbon!” He stars as a top agent framed for a crime he didn’t commit. On the run, he vows to protect the daughter of a slain government official, leading to hilarious situations, heartwarming moments, and explosive action as he races to clear his name and uncover the truth this Nov. 9.

3. “Beauty and the Bestie” tells the story of former best friends Emman (Coco), a secret agent, and Erika (Vice Ganda), a struggling photographer, who are forced to reunite for a high-stakes mission when Erika is asked to pose as a kidnapped beauty queen. Chaos, comedy, and camaraderie ensue on Nov. 16 as the two navigate danger and rediscover the value of friendship.

4. Coco teams up with Vic Sotto in “Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles” where they portray three police officers — Jack (Coco), Emily (Maine), and Popoy (Vic) who must set aside their differences to take down a powerful syndicate. As they work together, they uncover shocking secrets and learn the true meaning of teamwork, family, and justice on Nov. 23.

5. The well-loved story of “Ang Panday” sees Coco taking on the role of Flavio, a descendant of the legendary blacksmith who must forge his own sword and destiny to defeat the evil Lizardo and save the world from darkness. Blending fantasy, action, and heroism, the film, which airs on Nov. 30, reimagines the classic Filipino icon for a new generation.

Cinema One is also delivering a whirlwind of emotions with Angelica Panganiban this November on the Monday Drama block. From the pain of heartbreak to the power of moving on, the Kapamilya actress takes viewers on a deeply emotional journey through her standout films such as “One More Try” on Nov. 3, “A Love Story” on Nov. 10, “I Love You, Goodbye” on Nov. 17, and “The Unmarried Wife” on Nov. 24, which airs at 9pm.

Meanwhile, Kapuso star Dennis Trillo headlines the Thursday Horror block featuring a collection of his most haunting and suspense-filled films. Catch him in “Hellcome Home” on Nov. 6, “Tarot” on Nov. 13, “Mag-ingat Ka Sa…Kulam” on Nov. 20, and “TxT” on Nov. 27.
