Shanaia releases new pop song "Tried To Tell You"

Shanaia Gomez expresses the emotional weight of leaving a loved one in her heartfelt new ballad, “Tried To Tell You.”

Written by Shanaia herself, the ballad speaks of a person who tried to communicate their unspoken feelings, hoping the relationship would work, only to be ignored.

StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos spearheaded the music production while ALAS took charge of the song’s arrangement. 

Shanaia started her music career as a contestant of “Idol Philippines” season 1. Early this year, the lead star of iWantTFC’s horror flick “The Gatekeeper” released the single “State of Mind.”  

The former “Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10” housemate was also part of the hit series “He’s Into Her” and the blockbuster film “Rewind.” Last year, she was able to showcase her versatility in theater through the shows “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” and “Once on this Island,”
