"FPJ's Batang Quiapo" thanks viewers for strong TV ratings and online viewership

“FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” expresses its gratitude to Filipinos who continue to watch Tanggol’s action-packed encounters

Filipinos continue to tune in to Tanggol’s journey on-air and online

“FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” expresses its gratitude to Filipinos who continue to watch Tanggol’s action-packed encounters after the series posted a strong 20.4% average in total Philippine household TV ratings covering both urban and rural from June 23 to 26, which was higher than its competitor that got 16.0%, according to data from Kantar Media.

The Coco Martin-starrer, which remains the country’s most-watched teleserye, opened the week strongly with hard-hitting action scenes on June 23 as it recorded a national TV rating of 20.2% compared to its competitor that got 17.1%. 

More Filipinos continued to tune in the following day for the June 24 episode that featured the death of McCoy De Leon’s villain character as the series registered a national TV rating of 21.3% versus its competitor which got 16.2%.

The series maintained its lead for the June 25 episode as it hit a national TV rating of 19.2% which was higher than its competitor that got 15.4%. The Kapamilya series also edged out its competitor for the June 26 episode after it garnered a national TV rating of 20.7% compared to 15.4%.

“FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” was also a hit in terms of online viewership after generating more than half a million or over 600,000 daily peak concurrent viewers on Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube during the same period. 

In a recent interview, Coco promised to deliver non-stop adrenaline-pumping episodes and exciting plot twists as the show continues to hook Filipinos on a nightly basis.
