Eugene also takes centerstage in Tuesday Comedy
There’s no better way to cap the weekend than watching hilarious films to send forth good vibes for the new week ahead, and Cinema One brings four can’t miss comedy favorites from Vice Ganda, Vic Sotto, Coco Martin, Judy Ann Santos, and Angelica Panganiban every Sunday this July.
These four certified hit movies have rib-tickling narratives that are guaranteed to bring laughter on Cinema One’s Blockbuster Sundays block, airing at 7pm:
1. “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad” includes Gandarra (Vice Ganda), Rapiddo (Daniel Padilla), and Kweenie (Pia Wurtzbach), who are all trying to protect what is most precious to them. As they stick to their respective missions, secrets arise and threaten to destroy everything they hold dear. Find out this July 6 if they can find the only great power that will make them ‘super.’
2. In “Mission Unstapabol: The Don Identity,” which is airing on July 13, ex-convict Don Roberto Fortun (Vic Sotto) recruits his chauffeur (Jelson Bay), a failed boxer (Jake Cuenca), a failed magician (Pokwang), a bit player (Wally Bayola) and a mysterious hacker (Maine Mendoza) to help him steal a gigantic pearl from his brother Benjie Fortun (Jose Manalo) and strives to clear his name along the way.
3. “3pol Trobol: Huli Ka Balbon” star Coco Martin, who plays the role of Apollo, became the primary suspect in the killing of his former boss. The film, which will air on July 20, also stars Jennylyn Mercado, Ai-Ai Delas Alas, and many more.
4. “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes” stars Judy Ann Santos (Lianne Reyes) and Angelica Panganiban (Cindy Reyes) are devoted wives to Joross Gamboa (Gary Reyes) and JC de Vera (Felix Reyes). Victimized by their cheating husbands, the wives join forces to get their much-deserved revenge in the film airing on July 27.
Apart from these blockbuster flicks, comedy films starring Eugene Domingo are also bringing laughter this month on Cinema One’s Tuesday Comedy block at 9pm.
