Nanguna sa iTunes Philippines albums chart
Nagbabalik sa music scene ang singer-songwriter at producer na si Jeremy G dala ang unang volume ng kanyang two-part album na “ODDicted” na nanguna agad sa iTunes Philippines albums chart.
Para sa Kapamilya artist, swak ang binuong salita na ‘oddicted’ bilang tema ng kanyang bagong extended play (EP). Saad niya,“I felt like it fit very well because everyone has their different addictions when it comes to love. It was a great thing to encapsulate the whole theme about loving someone and loving yourself.”
Si Jeremy mismo ang sumulat at nagprodyus ng EP kasama ang pop duo na Darren Cashwell. Hango sa pop-R&B style at Y2K era ang anim na awitin nito na “hopeless romantic,” “addicted 2 u,” “Parking Lot” kasama sina Darren Cashwell at Chie Filomeno, “so good,” “why me?” at “Parking Lot – Hotter Version.”
Tungkol sa init ng damdamin na dala ng pag-ibig ang ibinahagi ni Jeremy sa key track na “addicted 2 u.”
Ibinahagi rin ng Kapamilya singer kung paano nakatulong ang pagiging songwriter at producer niya sa ibang artists upang mahanap muli ang inspirasyon na gumawa ng musika para sa sarili.
“After I released my album ‘Late Night Madness,’ I lost inspiration in trying to write for myself. I would try to write but nothing came out and it wasn’t good enough. But when I was writing for other artists, it helped me develop that inspiration even more. Those collaborations especially when I’m helping artists start their music career, it helped in shaping this EP,” aniya.
Inilunsad ni Jeremy ang debut album niya na “Late Night Madness” noong nakaraang taon tampok ang mga awitin na “Moonlight Kisses” kasama si Regine Velasquez-Alcasid at “BINI” kasama si BINI Aiah.
Bukod sa musika, napapanood din si Jeremy bilang host ng Sunday noontime variety show na “iWant ASAP.”
