Itinaas ang Filipino pride sa makulay na MV
Ibinida ng Philippines’ hottest girl group na BINI ang kanilang karisma at confidence sa bagong music video na “Shagidi” na napapanood sa BINI Official YouTube channel.
Binuo ng YouMeUs MNL ang makulay at bigating music video tampok ang dance moves ng miyembro na sina Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, at Sheena habang ginagaya ang larong Pinoy na “Shagidi Shagidi Shapopo” sa isang skate park.
“We want to find ways to reflect who we are and where we come from. For our Filipino fans, we hope it sparks pride and for our foreign audience, we want it to be a gateway for them to be curious about our country,” saad ni Jhoanna.
“We want to explore new things and ‘Shagidi’ brought us a new BINI flavor and personality. It gave us a chance to explore a fiercer side of ourselves in this song and video,” dagdag ni Aiah.
Inilabas ang “Shagidi” nitong Hunyo bilang tour single para sa “BINIverse World Tour” na nagdala sa kanila sa Dubai, London, at iba’t ibang siyudad sa US at Canada. Nabuo ang awitin mula sa songwriting camp sa Davao, Philippines kasama ang composers na sina Marqueze Parker, Tommy Brown, Courtin Jabrae, JBach, at Angela Ken.
Bago ilunsad ang music video, naiuwi ng grupo ang Group Artist of the Year at Concert of the Year sa New Hue Video Music Awards 2025. Panalo rin sila bilang OPM Artist of the Year at PPOP Artist of the Year sa Monster RX 93.1’s Monster Music Award 2024.
Tuloy-tuloy naman ang pagkilala na natatanggap ng BINI sa global stage matapos humakot ng limang nominasyon sa Jupiter Music Awards 2025. Nominado sila bilang Female Group of the Year habang ang “BINIverse” ay pasok sa Album of the Year at ang “Cherry On Top (BINIMo remix feat. Agnez Mo) ay nakasama sa Song of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, at Music Video of the Year.
