“Blood vs Duty,” ABS-CBN’s upcoming action-drama series topbilled by Richard Gutierrez, Bela Padilla, and Gerald Anderson, is set to debut on primetime television on April 6 (Monday).
The series, which unveiled its full trailer last Tuesday (March 24), premieres on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live. Ahead of its broadcast premiere, the series will stream first on Netflix starting April 3 and on iWant starting April 4.
The two-and-a-half-minute trailer sparked excitement and heightened anticipation among netizens due to its fresh narrative, intense action, and great casting.
It introduces Richard and Bela as part of a government agency on a mission to curb gun-related crimes. It also brings focus to Gerald, whose community stands on the verge of an attack.
Joining Richard, Bela, and Gerald in the series are Baron Geisler and Barbie Imperial. The trailer also shines a spotlight on veteran actor Jamie Fabregas.
“Blood vs Duty” is a project under ABS-CBN’s JRB Creative Production, the creator of “Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin,” “Darna”, “Nag-aapoy na Damdamin,” and “Sins of the Father” headed by Julie Anne R. Benitez and creative head Dindo Perez. It is directed by FM Reyes, Bjoy Balagtas, and Rico Navarro, along with action director Erwin Tagle.
