“Love at First Stream” and BL favorites bring the kilig this month

Cinema One is bringing a mix of heartwarming family stories, swoon-worthy romance, and feel-good entertainment this June with a special movie lineup celebrating Father’s Day.

Viewers can look forward to touching stories that highlight a father’s proud love and a sense of togetherness in the Father’s Day special airing on June 21 (Sunday).

  1. Cherishing precious time together in “Seven Sundays”

In “Seven Sundays,” the Bonifacio siblings reunite after learning that their father, Manuel (Ronaldo Valdez), has been diagnosed with cancer and may only have a few months left to live. As they spend seven Sundays together, long-standing conflicts, personal struggles, and unresolved family issues begin to surface. Through laughter, heartbreak, and reconciliation, the family learns the true value of love, forgiveness, and togetherness.

  1. A touching father-daughter bond in “Isusumbong Kita sa Tatay Ko”

In “Isusumbong Kita sa Tatay Ko,” Badong (Fernando Poe Jr.) raises his only child, Joey (Judy Ann Santos), on his own after the death of his wife. Meanwhile, “Blockbuster Sundays” delivers a mix of romance, history, comedy, and drama for viewers every Sunday at 7 PM. Catch Daniela Stranner, Kaori Oinuma, Jeremiah Lisbo, and Anthony Jennings in “Love at First Stream,” premiering for the first time on cable on June 7, Raymond Bagatsing’s “Quezon’s Game” on June 14, and Angelica Panganiban and Judy Ann Santos’ “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes” on June 21.

“Romance Central” also celebrates Pride Month with stories proving that love knows no boundaries.
